Dr. Cassie Kandyba was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was five years old. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University.
Dr. Kandyba is certified in veterinary medical acupuncture and treats most exotic pets (small mammals and reptiles), in addition to dogs and cats. Dr. Kandyba’s particular interests include caring for geriatric pets, exotic animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Although she loves all animals, she does have a soft spot for cats.
We asked Dr. Kandyba which pet best described herself?
Her response was that she'd be an indoor, domestic shorthair because her favorite pastime is napping.
The rest of the team said a calico cat because she is laid-back but can be feisty when needed.
