My little dog used to be a nervous wreck when I brought him home from the vet, but now he is calm and I think a little proud of himself. Our dog, Lucy, was experiencing some symptoms of discomfort and we booked a dental thinking she might have a tooth problem. The staff ran all of her bloodwork and processed it immediately so we didn’t have to wait (everything was normal) and they performed an immaculate dental cleaning. The whole staff are so sweet with us and Lucy, and are great at explaining everything. They’ve sent follow-up messages to check on her, and cards signed by the whole staff, in which they said they made a donation in Lucy’s name to support education and research of Veterinary Dentistry. I have used this veterinary practice for 50 years, under three different doctors. I have confidence in their abilities. I had my elderly cat in for tooth work. It was easy to schedule, easy to deliver. COVID necessitates parking lot meetings at this time. Drop off and pick up. They did excellent work on my kitty. They aren’t a discount shop or assembly line treatment. It was $2k to remove most of her teeth and fix her jaw erosion. That’s pretty typical for the area. -Michael B.

Laser Success Stories

We wanted to say thank you for recommending the laser treatments. When we brought Zion (Our teacup chihuahua) in, he was in a lot of pain. His knees went out, and he was swollen in his back and hips. After the first treatment, we noticed that he was not hurting so bad. By the time he had the 4th and last treatment, he was like his old self again. It was like he never got hurt. He has had his knees go out before, and he never got better this fast. We highly recommend the laser treatments. It is the best thing that came out for pain. It gave our little man back to us pain free much faster. He is a happier little man again.

I just wanted to thank the staff for helping my dog with his tail injury. On January 25th Tyson’s tail got shut in a car door. I raced him to an emergency hospital who stopped the bleeding and put staples in it and wrapped it up. Removing the bandage 4 days later he was able to get to his tail even with a cone on and it did not look well. It was black looking and oozzing. I got him into Jefferson Animal Clinic on January 30th to get help. They gave him antibiotics and started laser treatment to save his tail. After the first treatment he seemed happy and a little less painful. After 2nd treatment I could see it starting to heal. A few days after the third treatment he had a scab, but it looked great and he felt great. Within a few days after that he has just a small scar and his tail is wagging crazily as normal. The laser treatment was really great and worked well and fast. Thank you so much for saving his tail and making his recovery fast and easy.
